Host Your Own Honor Summit Viewing Event
Want to bring the spirit of the Honor Summit to your community? You can.
On the evenings of September 9–12, two beams of light will rise from the summit of Mount Washington as a tribute to the veterans, firefighters, first responders and all those whose lives were forever changed by September 11. The lights are intended to be visible across a wide region, creating an opportunity for people throughout New England to pause, look to the sky and remember together.
Whether you gather with family in your backyard, invite neighbors over, organize something with coworkers, or bring your organization or community together, we encourage you to make the experience your own.

Make It Your Own
There is no single right way to participate. You might share a meal, gather around a fire, invite a first responder to speak, ask guests to share a story, observe a moment of silence, or simply spend a few quiet minutes looking toward Mount Washington and reflecting on what the day means to you.
The goal is simple: come together, look to the sky and remember.
Important Note
The Granite Springs Foundation is not hosting or producing a formal public viewing event at individual locations. These resources are intended to help individuals, families, businesses, organizations and communities create their own gatherings in a way that feels meaningful to them.
We encourage everyone to participate in their own way throughout the weekend of September 11. Wherever you are, gather with the people who matter to you, look to the sky, and take a moment to honor and remember.
This is your moment to make your own.
